Lea County offers a moderate Advantage menu, every Medigap carrier in New Mexico and the full Part D lineup. Lea Regional Medical Center in Hobbs and Nor-Lea General Hospital in Lovington, a 25-bed community hospital, contract with different carriers, and many families see specialists across the line in Midland or Lubbock, which a Medigap policy covers and an Advantage network may not.
