Home Health Care Select

Daily cash for covered care in your home after an illness or injury: a daily maximum of $150, $300 or $450 for up to 365 days. Issue ages 45 to 89, guaranteed renewable for life.

Takes a couple of minutes on the company's own page. The price is the same either way.

This is not long-term care insurance.

This is limited benefit coverage. It is not Medicare, a Medicare Supplement policy, a Medicare Advantage plan or major medical coverage, and it does not replace any of them.

Honest fit

Who this suits, and who it does not

Worth considering if…

  • You would want to recover at home, and Medicare's home care limits worry you.
  • You are 45 to 89 and can answer the application's health questions.

Probably not for you if…

  • You are looking for long-term care. This pays for a limited period.
  • You are under 45. Home Health Care Enhanced is issued from 18.
  • You live in California, Florida, Minnesota, New Mexico, Utah or Washington, which the company's map does not show as available.

Straight answers

Questions about Home Health Care Select

Why are there two enrollment links?

ManhattanLife lists Home Health Care Select twice under this agency, under two product codes, and we have not yet confirmed which applies where. If the first does not offer it for your ZIP code, try the second, or call us.

How is this different from Home Health Care Enhanced?

The company's page lists homemaker services as available on Enhanced. Select is issued from age 45 and Enhanced from 18.

Can I buy Home Health Care Select online without talking to anyone?

Yes, where it is sold. The link on this page goes to ManhattanLife's own enrollment page, set to this agency. It asks for your ZIP code and date of birth, shows your price and lets you apply.

Does it cost more to buy through an agent?

No. The price is the same whichever route you take, because our commission is paid out of the company's filed rate.

Is ECOS Insurance Solutions the same company as ManhattanLife?

No. ECOS Insurance Solutions is an independent agency led by Darin Weidauer, NPN 18580338. The insurance company on your policy issues it and pays its claims.

Not ready to apply? Ask for a call back

Tell us how to reach you and which state you are in. A licensed agent calls back, usually the same business day, and will tell you plainly if this is not the right policy for you.

ECOS Insurance Solutions is an independent insurance agency. It is not ManhattanLife, and it is not connected with or endorsed by the United States government or the federal Medicare program. This is a solicitation of insurance. A licensed insurance agent may contact you.
