Cancer Care Plus

Cancer Care Plus pays toward the cost of treating cancer and a closed list of twenty-seven named dread diseases, line by line, rather than as a lump sum on diagnosis. Issue ages 18 to 69, with four plans to choose from.

Takes a couple of minutes on the company's own page. The price is the same either way.

This is limited benefit coverage. It is not Medicare, a Medicare Supplement policy, a Medicare Advantage plan or major medical coverage, and it does not replace any of them.

Honest fit

Who this suits, and who it does not

Worth considering if…

  • You want help with the running cost of treatment rather than one payment on diagnosis.
  • Travel and lodging for treatment away from home would be a real cost for you.

Probably not for you if…

  • You want one lump sum on diagnosis. That is a different policy: see Cancer and/or Heart and Stroke.
  • You live in Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Tennessee, Utah or Washington, where we are not able to place it.

Straight answers

Questions about Cancer Care Plus

Is this a lump sum when I am diagnosed?

No. It pays toward treatment, benefit by benefit, to the maximums in the schedule. A lump sum on diagnosis is what Cancer and/or Heart and Stroke pays.

Can I buy Cancer Care Plus online without talking to anyone?

Yes, where it is sold. The link on this page goes to ManhattanLife's own enrollment page, set to this agency. It asks for your ZIP code and date of birth, shows your price and lets you apply.

Does it cost more to buy through an agent?

No. The price is the same whichever route you take, because our commission is paid out of the company's filed rate.

Is ECOS Insurance Solutions the same company as ManhattanLife?

No. ECOS Insurance Solutions is an independent agency led by Darin Weidauer, NPN 18580338. The insurance company on your policy issues it and pays its claims.

Not ready to apply? Ask for a call back

Tell us how to reach you and which state you are in. A licensed agent calls back, usually the same business day, and will tell you plainly if this is not the right policy for you.

ECOS Insurance Solutions is an independent insurance agency. It is not ManhattanLife, and it is not connected with or endorsed by the United States government or the federal Medicare program. This is a solicitation of insurance. A licensed insurance agent may contact you.
