Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026.
This notice covers the Nevada pages of ecosinsurancesolutions.com (the “Site”), including the 2027 Plan Finder. The Site is operated by ECOS Medicare Solutions (ECOS Insurance Solutions) and Darin Weidauer, a licensed Nevada insurance agent (NPN 18580338, NV License #3302061), 8524 Del Webb Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89134 (“ECOS,” “we”). It describes what each part of the Site collects, why, who processes it, how long it is kept, and how to make a request.
What we collect, feature by feature
The Plan Finder questions
Your answers (for example your county, your Medicare Part A and Part B status, other coverage such as VA, TRICARE, CHAMPVA, FEHB or PSHB, whether you have Medicaid, a Medicare Savings Program or Extra Help, whether you want to keep your current doctors and facilities, the kind of prescriptions you take (generic, brand-name, both or none), travel, costs and extras, and, only if you choose to answer, whether a doctor has diagnosed certain conditions) stay in your browser’s session storage for that tab. They are not sent to us, to a form provider or to an analytics service, and neither are the results or the plans the Plan Finder lists for you. Closing the tab, or choosing “Start over,” clears them. If you use “Copy a link to these answers,” the link carries your answers (without the condition answer or anything you typed) after a # sign, which browsers do not send to websites; anyone you share the link with can read them.
The Plan Finder never asks for the names of your doctors, specialists, hospitals, facilities, medical group, medications or pharmacy, and it does not check whether a provider or a drug is covered by a plan. ECOS checks those with you and the plan before you enroll.
The scope acknowledgment before plan-specific results
Before the Plan Finder or a plan page shows plan-specific information, you check one box agreeing to view information about the plan types named on the screen. When you do, we record only: that you checked the box, the plan types (Medicare Advantage and Medicare Advantage with prescription drug coverage), the coverage year, the date and time (UTC), a random record number, the version and exact wording of the acknowledgment, and the Plan Finder version. We do not record your Plan Finder answers, results, name, contact details, IP address, browser details, the page or any session number with it, and it does not give us permission to call, text or email you. This record is stored in our client-management system, MyECOS360, and kept for 10 years, the period Medicare requires for scope-of-appointment records.
Contact and document requests (optional)
If you ask us to contact you, or ask for a plan’s Summary of Benefits or plan documents, you give us your name, email address, phone number and ZIP code, and you may agree to be contacted by phone, text and email. We record the exact consent wording shown to you and when you agreed, the plans you asked about and the page you were on. If you arrived from an ad or a tracked link, the campaign details from that link (utm values, ad click identifiers, the first page you landed on and the referring website’s name) are added to the request. A request is sent to Web3Forms, which emails it to us, and to MyECOS360, which also stores your IP address and browser details and creates a client record and a permission-to-contact record.
Scope of Appointment form (optional, for emailed documents)
To email plan documents we ask for a Scope of Appointment: the beneficiary’s name, address, city, state, ZIP code, phone and email; an authorized representative’s details if one signs; the products to discuss; and a drawn or typed signature. We record the date and time, your time zone, the page, your IP address and browser details. It is stored in MyECOS360 and kept for 10 years, as Medicare requires.
Emails
Plan-document and confirmation emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery service. Every email has an unsubscribe link; using it records your opt-out in MyECOS360 so we stop emailing that address.
What your browser stores
Session storage (cleared when the tab closes): your Plan Finder answers, the record number of your scope acknowledgment, and campaign details from the link that brought you. Local storage (up to 12 months, on this device only): after a contact or document request, a request number, your name and email, and whether a Scope of Appointment is on file, so you are not asked again. “Start over” in the Plan Finder clears both.
Analytics
Google Analytics is not loaded on the Plan Finder, on the plan document pages, or on the email confirmation and unsubscribe pages. No Plan Finder answer, result, route or plan is sent to any analytics service.
On our other Nevada pages we use Google Analytics to see which pages are read and whether people call or submit a form. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and the website that referred you. We do not send it your name, phone number or email address. You can block it with Google’s browser opt-out add-on or your browser’s cookie controls. The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, and Google Analytics does not either.
Who processes your information
- MyECOS360, our client-management system, hosted by Supabase: scope acknowledgments, requests, Scope of Appointment forms, client and permission-to-contact records, email opt-outs. Supabase’s own request logs may record the IP address of each request made to it.
- Web3Forms: delivers contact and request forms to our email.
- Resend: sends plan-document, confirmation and notification emails.
- Vercel: hosts the Site; its server logs record IP addresses and page addresses.
- Google: Google Analytics on our other pages, and Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when the Site’s fonts load.
- Enrollment site: “Apply now” opens a separate enrollment website (DestinationRx) in a new tab. We send it nothing; its own privacy policy applies to what you enter there.
How we use it
We use what you send us to contact you about Medicare plan options, to send the documents you asked for, to keep the records Medicare requires, and to run and secure the Site, consistent with the consent you gave. A licensed insurance agent may contact you. We do not sell your personal information or your consumer health data.
Consumer health data (Nevada)
Nevada law (NRS 603A.400 to 603A.550) protects consumer health data. The Plan Finder’s questions about conditions, the kind of prescriptions you take, your doctors and facilities, Medicaid and other coverage are answered in your browser and are not collected by us. If you choose to give us health information in a request or a conversation, we use it only to provide the help you asked for, share it only with the processors listed above as needed to do that, and do not sell it.
Your requests and choices
- Ask whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and for a list of the third parties we have shared it with.
- Ask us to stop collecting or sharing it, or to delete it.
- Ask for a copy or a correction of the personal information we hold about you, or tell us not to sell it (we do not sell it).
- Stop contact at any time: tell us, reply STOP to a text message, or use the unsubscribe link in an email.
Make a request by emailing darinweidauer@ecos.care, calling (702) 706-6564, or writing to 8524 Del Webb Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89134. We will confirm your identity before acting, and answer within 45 days; if we need more time, we will tell you why. Records the law requires us to keep (such as Scope of Appointment records) are kept for the required period and then deleted.
Appeals: if we decline a request, reply to our answer with “Appeal” in the subject line (or call or write to us). Darin Weidauer will review the decision and answer within 45 days, with the reasons. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Nevada Attorney General’s office.
How long we keep it
- Plan Finder answers: in your browser only, until the tab closes or you start over.
- Scope acknowledgments and Scope of Appointment forms: 10 years.
- Contact and document requests, client and permission-to-contact records: while we may help you, and as insurance recordkeeping rules require; deleted on request unless a law requires us to keep them.
- Email opt-outs: kept so we can keep honoring them.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share. Access to MyECOS360 requires a password and a second sign-in step. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This Site is intended for adults making Medicare decisions. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We will post any change here with a new “Last updated” date.
